PT Mirai Land Indonesia ("Mirailand", "we") is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect through the Mirailand portal (mirailand.id) and the Mirailand mobile app (Android and iOS), how we use it, and your rights as a data subject under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law No. 27/2022 (UU PDP).

1. Data We Collect

When you register or use Mirailand's membership features — whether via the website or the mobile app — we collect:

  • Full name — obtained from your Google account on first sign-in, whether via the website or the mobile app.
  • Email address — from your Google account or entered directly.
  • Profile photo — from your Google account (public avatar), used only for display in your account area.
  • Saved properties — the list of properties you save in the portal or the app.
  • Saved searches and notification preferences (frequency: daily or weekly).
  • Last login time and preferred language — for functional purposes.

On the mobile app specifically, we also collect:

  • GPS location (approximate/precise) — only when you actively use the "Near-Me Properties" or "Near-Me Clusters" feature and grant location permission on your device. Location is used live (in real time) to find and display nearby properties/clusters on the map, and is not stored as location history on your account profile.
  • Push notification device token — a technical identifier generated by Firebase Cloud Messaging (a Google service) for your device, used so we can deliver notifications about new listings or updates to your saved searches to that device.
  • Device platform type (Android/iOS) — to ensure notifications are delivered correctly.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Providing membership features: saving favourite properties and managing saved searches.
  • Sending notifications (email and/or push notifications on the mobile app) about new listings matching your saved searches.
  • Authenticating your identity when you sign in via Google, whether via the website (OAuth) or the mobile app (native Google sign-in) — different mechanisms, same data collected.
  • Showing nearby properties and residential clusters based on your location, on the mobile app only and only when you actively use that feature.
  • Improving the user experience, including language preferences.
  • Fulfilling legal obligations where required by applicable regulations.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Processing of your personal data is based on consent (Article 20, UU PDP) that you provide when registering and agreeing to this policy. For GPS location data and push notifications on the mobile app, consent is given separately through your device's operating system permissions (location and notification permissions), which you may revoke at any time via your device settings without affecting other app features. You may withdraw your membership consent at any time by deleting your account.

4. Data Storage and Retention

Your identity and membership data is stored on servers located in the European Union (DigitalOcean hosting) and in Indonesia. Data is retained for as long as your account is active.

GPS location you share via the "Near-Me Properties/Clusters" feature is processed in real time to find properties near you and is not stored permanently as part of your account profile.

Push notification device tokens are stored for as long as you use the app and allow notifications; a token is automatically deactivated when you log out of the app, or can be deleted at your request.

When you delete your account, all your identity data (name, email, photo, saved properties, saved searches, notification token) is permanently deleted. Property enquiry records you previously submitted are retained for business purposes, but the link to your identity is removed.

5. Third Parties That Help Process Your Data

To run our sign-in and notification features, we use services from Google LLC (Google Sign-In for authentication, and Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications), which process your data (Google identity and device token) in accordance with Google's privacy policy, solely to perform those functions on our behalf — not for Google's own marketing purposes.

6. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under UU PDP, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data — available on your My Account page, on both the website and the app.
  • Correct inaccurate data — editable directly from the Account page.
  • Delete your account and all associated data — via the account deletion page.
  • Withdraw consent to data processing at any time by deleting your account, or revoke location/notification permissions via your device settings.
  • Object to unlawful processing of your data.

7. No Sale of Data to Third Parties

Mirailand does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. Data is shared only with technical service providers that support the portal's and app's operation (such as transactional email, hosting, authentication, and push notification services as described in section 5) under appropriate confidentiality agreements, and with legal authorities where required by applicable regulations.

8. Cookies and Sessions (Website)

Mirailand uses session cookies to maintain your login state and store temporary preferences (such as property comparisons) on the website. These cookies are necessary for basic portal functionality and are not used for cross-site tracking or targeted advertising. By using the portal, you agree to the use of these essential cookies. The mobile app does not use cookies, but uses an equivalent authentication mechanism (an app token) to maintain your login state.

9. Mobile App Device Permissions

The Mirailand mobile app requests the following permissions, used only for the purposes described:

  • Location — for the "Near-Me Properties/Clusters" feature. Not used to track your location in the background.
  • Notifications — to deliver listing updates and saved-search alerts.

You may deny or revoke these permissions at any time via your device settings; the app remains usable without them, with the related features simply disabled.
